IEEE PEDG 2024 Women in Engineering Travel Grant Application

The IEEE Power Electronics Society's Women in Engineering (WiE) Committee is pleased to offer 4 Travel Grants for women engineers attending IEEE PEDG 2024 in Luxembourg from June 23rd to June 26th, 2024. This initiative, supported by IEEE PELS WiE Committee, aims to strength diversity, equity and inclusion by subsidizing conference-related costs for women (up to 500€ for 2 women traveling from Europe and up to 1000€ for those 2 women from other regions).

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this program, the applicant must:

1. Be an IEEE Member (student member included).
2. Be available to attend the Women in Engineering (WiE) Event at the conference.
3. Provide a valid registration fee receipt.

Application Process:

• Application deadline: May 31st, 2024.
• Complete the IEEE PEDG 2024 Student Travel Grant Application Form available here: IEEE PEDG 2024 WiE Travel Grant Application Form
• Notification of award: Selected women will be notified by June 6th, 2024.

Disbursement of Funds:

• A check of 500€ or 1000€ will be issued to the awardees either during the conference or post-conference based on the geographic origin of the travel.

IEEE PEDG 2024 Student Travel Grant Application Announcement

The IEEE Power Electronics Society's Sustainable Energy Systems Committee (TC5) is pleased to offer 12 Travel Grants for graduate and undergraduate students attending IEEE PEDG 2024 in Luxembourg from June 23rd to June 26th, 2024. This initiative, supported by IEEE PELS TC5, aims to subsidize travel costs for students (up to 500€ for 6 students traveling from Europe and up to 1000€ for those 6 students from other regions).

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for this program, the applicant must:

1. Must be an IEEE PELS Student Member (undergraduate or graduate).
2. Must be enrolled in a power electronics-related program at an accredited institution.
3. Must be an author or co-author of a paper accepted for presentation at PEDG 2024.
4. Must provide a valid registration fee receipt.
5. Must be traveling from outside Luxembourg.

Application Process:

• Application deadline: May 31st, 2024.
• Notification of award: Selected students will be notified by June 6th, 2024.
• Successful applicants will be required to provide valid proof of IEEE PELS Student Membership and a university certificate confirming enrollment in a power electronics-related program.
